Granting wishes for Children with life-threatening illnesses
Dream Connection grants wishes for children up to age 18, with life threatening illnesses and is run voluntarily from home by Kate Marshall, Charity Secretary. Kate raises the funds and fulfills the wishes and overheads are kept to a minimum which means any donation, however small, goes a long way towards a wish.
Every child is referred to the Charity by their specialist nurse at hospital, as they are the most qualified to know who is most deserving of a wish. The final endorsement must come from their relevant consultant and once referred, no child is ever turned down.
